PADI Scuba Diver
A basic course in scuba diving that takes you though all you need to get in the water and dive! Once qualified you can dive under supervision of a PADI Pro. The course takes 2 days with one day spent on pool skills and theory and one day diving in open water (2 dives). Included in the price is course manual and certification.
PADI Open Water Diver
The full open water diving course. Upgrade from Scuba Diver (2 dives) or complete the course in 3-4 days (4 open water dives).
Some have been known to offer this course in two days. This is breaking standards, if you are offered this, walk away!
Day one is typically spent with pool training and theory classes.
Day two starts with boat trip with your first two open water dives. Theory is continued aboard the boat or in the classroom.
Day three sees another boat trip to complete your open water dives. Your final exam is usually completed onboard. Arrive home a happy, new diver!!!
