Dive Master
The first rung on the ladder as a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). This is the one if you want to work in the diving industry.
Ask for the the new DM program from PADI. It has been available since summer last year. Any company tries to fob you off with the old course, walk away!
To start the course you now are required to have 40 logged dives. As before, you still need 60 logged dives to complete the course.
There are some new practical modules.
Two new exams; Part A and Part B. Both exams have 60 questions. Those who elect to complete dive theory by the PADI e-learning process can get credit towards the Part B exam.
