Course standards will vary according to the training agency you sign up to.
Quality dive centres will offer as standard services such as; 3rd party liability insurance, private pool for training, and dive computers. Shop around, you can pay much for a second rate course.
The new PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course is wholly based upon computer diving. The course can be completed in a day, as a "dry" or a "wet" course. For the dry course there is a presentation video, knowledge review, exam and practical. The wet course, you go diving as well!
Get your Nitrox course in one day! The whole course is carried out during a day trip! Typically, our divers get a DVD presentation on the boat. Afterwards they complete and check the Knowledge Review with their instructor, take their Final Exam and work on the Practical Application. Then they dive on two tanks of Nitrox!!!
The PADI Open Water Course is typically carried out over three or four days. More time can be taken depending upon the time scale of our student.
Day 1; Pool and theory
Day 2; Open Water dives (2) and theory.
Day 3; Open Water dives (2) and final exam!
Day 4; as required
PADI Advanced Open Water Course. Move on up a level now with two days of adventure! Typically students start off with one of our Superday trips where you will experience a wreck dive on the King Cruiser, explore the depths around Anemone Reef and wonder in the beauty of Shark Point! No final exam with this course, but you will complete the knowledge reviews for your chosen dives before you and your instructor plan and put your new knowledge into action.
