Our best advice is to stick to the main shops for these courses. Beware, there are plenty of holiday divemasters and instructors around, working without work permits or insurance. Some will even be from agencies other than PADI, and try to charge as much for a course that you would find from a reputable shop. There is even one shop displaying PADI Dive Centre credentials. They keep this up, even with PADI telling them to take it down. This is Thailand, "same same, but different"! Bogus all the same!
